Glow Plug Ignitor or Electric Starter: In order to start remote control gas trucks you will either need a glow plug ignitor,
or an electric starter. The engines in nitro powered r/c trucks are often called glow engines, hence the name glow plug ignitor. The engines have glow plugs that must be heated up to allow the engine to start. On the other hand, you could opt for an electric starter for remote control gas trucks, they are easier and quicker but a little more expensive. 2 Channel Radio System (transmitter, receiver, servos): The transmitter for remote control gas trucks are held in your hand and allow you to control the speed and direction of your r/c truck. The transmitter sends a signal to the on board receiver (located on the remote control gas trucks themselves) which then passes the signal to the servos (mechanical parts connected to the receiver) which actually control the remote control gas trucks.
Unlike electric r/c trucks, remote control gas trucks require a separate battery to run the on board receivers. Many of the rc trucks available come with all you need in one box! To
