The radio control buggy is so popular because it is at home both on the road and off road. These r/c trucks come with extra long suspension to handle the bumps, and extra high clearance under the body for the rough terrain. The tires are large (not as large as you would find on an r/c monster truck) and nubbed or spiked for extra traction.

As mentioned, these r/c trucks come in both electric and nitro versions. As well, you can decide on whether you would like to assemble it yourself (kit version) or have it ready to run (RTR) right out of the box.

As far as speed goes, the radio control buggy can hit speeds of 30 -35 mph on the road, and is comfortable just about anywhere (parks, backyards or parking lots)
